First you cook a turkey,
like you might for Thanksgiving, even it its not.
You can make fried corn, peas,
cornbread dressing, however, you like,
but bake the damn turkey.
After eating a great big dinner,
take the leftovers and put them
in Rubbermaid containers.
Make turkey sandwiches for a few days
while eating left over brown and serve
for as long as they last, and if, you, like me,
love leftover dressing sandwiches,
you eat a few of those.
Now if you bought a big enough turkey
you can either make turkey soup on about the 4th day,
or you can seal the turkey up in a specially made machine
that dehydrates the meat and you can store it on the shelf
or freeze it if you don’t trust the machine.
And why do you care and how many steps were there,
and is it time to buy another turkey, yet, anyway?
